        • Imaging test

Imaging test involve X-ray and MRI which helps to visualize the affected area such as swollen area, cancer cell and spread of inflammation.

        • Gastroscopy

In gastroscopy, a thin light tube is insert in the abdomen with camera attached to front to visualize cancer cells and stomach mucosal lining. It also used to remove mucosal secretion for lab test.

        • Fecal occult blood test

Frcal occult blood test involve checking presence of blood in stool microscopically. It help to diagnose cancer.

        Treatment

Stomach cancer is manage by chemotherapy (drug therapy), radiation and surgical treatment.

        • Chemotherapy drug

Chemotherapy is give on early period to decrease growth of bacteria and cancer cells. Commonly given medicines are carmustine, doxorubicin and ciplatin and taxotere.

        • Surgical treatment

        • Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR)
